About

Hi World,

I’m Nancy.  I used to follow an awesome band, The Steel Knives! I would film them and also some of the other local bands that played in and around Northeastern, PA area. What an amazing time. Most of that music scene has changed over the years. Some have stopped playing, and sadly, some band members have even passed away. I’ve collected tons of photos and live videos. I hope you enjoy looking through these. Eventually, the Steel Knives took a break. I then joined a new band with their Singer, Songwriter, Ed Malaker. He came up with the name dED and BURYd. A play on words, his name being Ed or dED, and my last name Bury for BURYd. Did I mention what an amazing writer he is. Well, I loved the idea. We started out small, making video games. He’d program, and I’d do the cartoon pictures.

This is our Reverbnation page

Our music lives where dark rock, garage grit, goth atmosphere, and strange little stories meet. Listeners repeatedly hear haunting guitars, characterful vocals, theatrical or cinematic scenes, retro influences, and a raw human quality that feels intentionally outside the mainstream. “Darkly cinematic, guitar-led alternative rock that combines eerie storytelling, retro and garage textures, distinctive voices, synth color, and an offbeat sense of humor.”

Anyway, I seem to be getting ahead of myself and would like to get back to the beginning. Let’s take a look:
